Real Spells – Why Didn’t My Spell Work?
How often should a real spell be cast? You should always give your real spell a reasonable amount of time for it to work. You should give your magic spell at least several days and maybe even up to a month in order to fully complete.
If nothing has happened, you should take the time to revise your spell, or maybe even your intent. If you cast your magic spell again and you still don’t see any results, it’s probably time that you just release your desire. Very often the simple act of releasing your desire will bring you what you really want.
If a real spell doesn’t work, it might also be that your true intent isn’t clear and strong enough, or you haven’t truly put all of your emotions behind. Of course we sometimes tend to wish for things that really aren’t in our own best interests. A spell, no matter how real that spell is, is never going to work if what you want isn’t in your own highest good.
What exactly is it that determines what is in your, or any one’s highest good? That answer actually goes by many different names – the higher self, your soul, the grand self, the goddess, whatever you might call it, the main idea is that when you gaze into the mirror, the image that you see reflected back to you is a mere fraction of the entire picture. Somewhere deep inside of us is something, a type of energy, and that energy is what grasps the whole picture.
If you’ve defined that your intent is pure and good and your real spell still isn’t working, then perhaps you’ve asked for too many things. You need to sit down and determine what is really the most important thing to you, then just simply ask about one true pure thing. Sometimes if you just rearrange the wording of a real spell, that will fix the problem.
Of course sometimes our own impatience gets in the way. Maybe you haven’t given the spell time to work. How much time is enough time you might ask. A spell that is in total alignment with your highest good, backed by the best intent, total clarity, and deep passion, will work almost immediately. If you cast a complex spell that might involve several different people, of course the spell could take longer. If your spell is very complicated, you should give it at least a month to work. The other option of course, is to break that complex spell down into several components in order to simplify it.
The most important thing to remember is to not invest too much energy in the outcome of a real spell. Once you’ve cast your spell, forget about. Release it into the universe and allow the process to unfold. Trust that you will get what you want. Casting spells should always be done with the spirit of fun and adventure. If your spells aren’t working, you should take a closer look at your overall emotional mood. Maybe you just need to lighten up!
